Job Description

Assistant Resident Manager | Limpopo | Private Game Lodge

We are looking for experienced ASSISTANT RESIDENT MANAGER to assist in managing the busy, private 4 start game lodge, located in Bela Bela region.

Requirements and main duties:
  • Proven track record of successfully managing timeshare operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge of hotel or lodge financials, revenue management, and budgeting.
  • Proficient in industry-specific software and systems.
  • Hospitality diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field.
  • Provide strategic direction and vision for the Resort, aligning it with company objectives.
  • Oversee daily operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, Safari, Entertainment, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to optimize revenue generation, occupancy rates, and overall profitability.
  • Foster a positive work environment and lead a diverse team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and business partners to enhance the Timeshare’s reputation and drive customer loyalty.
  • Monitor guest feedback and take proactive measures to address any issues, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for all guests.
  • Analyze financial reports, control costs, and prepare budgets to achieve financial targets.
  • Stock control & management.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as Assistant General Manager or Resident Manager, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in Front Office.

  • Basic salary will be discussed with shortlisted candidates and depends on experience and skills
  • Live in position
  • Medical aid – 50% of main member for individual only, restricted to Classic Saver or below option on Discovery (does not form part of CTC package (voluntary membership) )
  • 13% Provident – does not form part of CTC package (compulsory membership).
