Maintenance Manager | Malawi | Luxury Safari Lodge
We are seeking an experienced MAINTENANCE MANAGER to join the team of this luxurious lodge and camp at Liwonde National Park, Malawi.
As a leading conservation safari company, they are committed to preserving Africa’s pristine wilderness and providing unforgettable guest experiences. Their luxurious lodges and camps offer unparalleled comfort and stunning views of the park’s diverse wildlife.
As ideal candidate you will have:
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably within a 5 Star safari lodge, hospitality, or remote environment.
- Project management
- Conservation
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, solar energy, plumbing, electrical systems, vehicle maintenance, and boat mechanics.
- Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex maintenance issues.
- Budgeting and resource management expertise.
- Proficient in using maintenance software and inventory management tools
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a remote location and adapt to challenges unique to a safari lodge environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
- Previous experience in Remote areas – ESSENTIAL

- Provide swift and effective emergency responses to maintenance-related operations
Salary Package:
- USD 2500 NETT
- Single live in Accommodation
- 1 return flight per year
- 30 annual leave days + 15 public holidays
- 60 days on and 10 days off work structure
