About Me
● Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested, remove items from hallways and transport to service areas.
● Clean corridors and floor public areas around guest rooms, Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and maintain cleanliness of equipment and Pantries.
● Provide the turn down service to assigned guest room according to standards established by the hotel, it involves turning down the bed, Replenishing guest room and bath supplies and cleaning the bathroom if necessary.
● Reports damage and malfunction in hotel rooms and areas to floor in charge
● Reports lost and found articles to the housekeeping office immediately.
● Handle guest complaints and reports them to supervisor immediately
● Carry out valet services whenever required, for example delivery of linen, processing laundry orders.
● Attends the guest’s requests and queries courteously and provides excellent guest service promptly in the course of duty.
● Clean and stores all the equipment in proper place and keep pantries well arranged
● Reports and follow up on any maintenance issues such as broken appliances immediately
● Reports of lost and found items following the procedures and techniques for example valued items such Gold watches, laptops, phones to be reported immediately to floor in charge and large amounts of money to call security.
● Re stores trolleys and Pantries for the next day and takes accurate room status reports at the end of the shift.
