
About Me
With over 20 years working experience in some of South Africa’s leading industries, my immediate objective is to secure a challenging position in order to gain additional experience in the travel industry which is my passion and what I studied for at Boston City Campus a 3-year diploma. I have worked in some of the most challenging industries gaining a variety of skills and knowledge to further my personal development.
For the past 11 years I have travelled to a vast number of Domestic, African and International destinations working for South African Airways with a 4-star Skytrax Ranking serving 57 destinations in partnership with other low-cost carrier as a Flight Attendant in Business and Economy class simultaneously. I gained a lot of experience working with people refining my people and customer care skills. I have also gained a variety of extra skills i.e., Basic First Aid (Aviation Medicine), Dangerous Goods – CAT 11, Medical Emergency, Safety and Emergency Procedures Training (critical crises), Wet Ditching and Raft Management skills which we trained and wrote exams for every year. I was licensed as a crew member on the Boeing and Airbus aircraft series i.e. Boeing 737, Airbus A319/320, Airbus A-330, Airbus A -340-200/300/500/600.
I also have 4 years experience in the hotel industry as a receptionist and banqueting coordinator before moving on to work in the corporate space on contract work through a recruitment agency.
I worked for 5 years in the corporate space.
