I am passionate about the tourism and hospitality industry. It has proven countless times its ability to boost the economy and change lives. I have some experience in catering, which I have gained in the past three years of helping at a small and home-based family business. I see myself as a leader in the tourism & hospitality industry in the next ten years. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Tourism Management from the University of Venda, South Africa, and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Tourism Development degree from one of the best hospitality, tourism, and leisure schools in Africa, called STH, which is within the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. According to QS Rankings 2020, STH was ranked at position One in Africa. I possess the skills and knowledge, but I would appreciate the opportunity to gain experience and get exposure to various aspects of the hospitality & tourism industry. My dream is to be a prominent person in the tourism & hospitality industry in my country and drive the industry so well that the marginalized people in my country can enjoy the opportunities and benefits of the industry and they could forget about their plight.
