About Me
Executive Chef, Culinary Trainer and Hospitality Consultant with more than 20 years of experience across luxury hotels, safari lodges, restaurants, culinary education, consulting and large-scale hospitality operations in South Africa, Botswana, Kenya and the United Kingdom.
My background includes senior kitchen leadership, luxury lodge operations, chef training and mentorship, menu development, food quality improvement, food cost control, stock management, HACCP compliance, SOP implementation, kitchen systems, team development and operational improvement.
I previously served as Executive Head Chef at Chobe Game Lodge in Botswana, where I led the full culinary operation within a luxury safari lodge environment and formed part of the Executive Management Team.
I am currently completing a culinary consulting and training contract in Kenya within a remote lodge environment. My current work includes kitchen assessment, chef mentorship, menu development, service refinement, food quality improvement, stock control review, operational standards and team development.
I am seeking suitable senior opportunities such as Executive Chef, Group Executive Chef, Regional Chef Trainer, Culinary Development Chef, Head of Culinary, lodge or resort culinary leadership, and senior operational consulting or training roles.
I am open to permanent and fixed-term contract opportunities across Africa and internationally, with realistic availability from 1 October 2026.
