My name is Jurie van Riel, a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry with experience in Hotels/Lodges, Restaurant management, and a Tour Operator.

As a manager, I have always been highly motivated and committed in providing the best quality service to my guests. I led and directed teams on effective methods, and procedures regarding service, as well as reduced operational costs by a minimum of 20% at all the establishments that I have managed through careful and precise stock control.

For the past 10 months I have been Executive Restaurant Manager at one of the most prestigious Restaurants in the country and have uplifted standards of service even more.

For the last 10-years, I spearheaded my own Tour Company, and through strategic marketing techniques/Guest relations, I have increased revenue and customer satisfaction by 85%.

This was also the most satisfying accomplishment for me as we only started with four guests in its first year, and within three years grew to over 400+ guests per annum. Eventually, we expanded our company to Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. It was only due to Covid’s detrimental effects on our industry that my family and I moved back to South Africa.
