About Me
· cleans and maintains areas guest rooms and bathrooms by dusting all light bulbs ,lampshades ,telephone ,window ledges ,drawers ,desks and legs ,luggage bench ,air conditioner vents ,and top of television ,replenish supplies such as drinking glasses ,writing supplies and bathroom supplies in the guest rooms according to the hotel standards and procedures
· Ensure all assigned rooms are cleaned, supplied and maintained ,wash walls, ceilings ,woodwork ,windows ,door panels ,sills and ensure that all equipment’s inside and around guest rooms as well as in work areas and used while my responsibilities is in working condition according to the hotel standards.
· Respond to special requests ,guest complaints ,and the delivery of housekeeping/room supplies to achieve complete guest satisfaction, clean other designated areas such as public restrooms ,storage rooms and other public area spaces.
· Report all maintenance issues in quest rooms and public spaces such as room damage, television not working, and air conditioner not working and report all missing items from room (i.e. irons/boards, hair dryers, prayer mate, TV remote) to floor supervisor.
· Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation guidelines of all guest rooms and suites (bedroom, living area, kitchen, outdoor spaces, and bathroom), while adhering to hotel and department policies and procedures.
· Deliver and refill mini bar products, fruits and amenities in guest rooms in accordance with established company’s checklists and standards in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining guest’s privacy and comfort.
· Ensure any lost and found items are properly reported, recorded and submitted according to the hotel and departmental lost and found policy and safety, security, and proper handling/usage of assigned master keys and communication devices.
· Maintain knowledge of the hotel and guest rooms including facilities, restocking requirements and operations to ensure that guest queries can be answered.
· Assist in room dinning by removing all food trays and trolleys from guestrooms and on floor corridor and places in on floor by room entrance
· Attends to guests request and queries courteously and provides excellent guest service promptly in the course of day and update all vacant clean rooms and occupied clean rooms in the system by room phone.
· Assist laundry by collect guest laundry and delivering to guest rooms and collects soiled linens for laundering and receives and stores linen supplies in linen closet, also load articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, and other cleaning agent.
· Clean corridors and floor public areas around guest rooms, dust, polish, empty wastebaskets and empties, polish metal work and remove marks from walls and maintain cleanliness of equipment and Pantries.
· Provide the turn down service to assigned guest room according to standards established by the hotel, it involves turning down the bed, Replenishing guest room and bath supplies and cleaning the bathroom if necessary.
· Attends the guest’s requests such as delivery of special amenities and set up for guest rooms upon request (towel art on bed, decoration on special occasions like birth days) and provides excellent guest service promptly in the course of duty.
· Adhering to all security and maintenance procedures and practices including reporting any usual or suspicious incidents, hazards or people, complaints and missing or damaged items in a timely and accurate manner.
