About Me
Ø Clean and sanitize guestrooms, showers, basins, toilets, tiles dusting, vacuuming and all surrounding areas and drains were kept clean and update and record all clean rooms, visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.
Ø Stocks cart to ensure that enough cleaning needs, equipment, and amenities are available to properly clean each room and keep rooms stocked with clean cups, coffee supplies, and towels.
Ø Clean bathtub, toilet, sink ,walls ,mirrors ,tiles ,counters, and floor surfaces using cloths ,mops ,sponges ,brushes ,cleaning agents by extending arms over head ,bending and stooping.
Ø Check and report any maintenance work required immediately and also report all missing items from room i.e. irons/boards, hair dryers to the floor supervisor.
Ø Reports any damages or hazards that are present in guest rooms i.e., burned-out light bulbs, broken furniture, broken lights.
Ø Vacuum carpet and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe furniture, empty ashtrays and wastebaskets and keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat
Ø Make bed, wash sink, bathtub, toilet, tiles, mirrors and floor and polish brass and metal and handle bed linens and towels with care and separate soiled and damaged linens according to procedure.
Ø Replenish bathroom supplies and room supplies and tidy and arrange neatly guest toilet articles on vanity top and spot cleans carpet when necessary, clean and reset guest bedroom and bathroom areas according to established standards as follows.
Ø Attend daily briefings with the assistant manager housekeeping of their section and pay careful attention to all instructions and priorities for the day, contribute to the meetings with suggestions and by asking questions.
Ø Clean bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and living room of each unit according to established procedures and carry out special cleaning tasks as required.
Ø Ensure cleanliness of high dust surfaces such as picture frames, vents, doorframes and sanitize high touch areas such as light switches, bed rails and doorknobs
Ø Clean and keep the guest corridors, service pantries, polish woodwork and metal work such as fixtures and metal fittings and service areas neat and tidy at all times and remove room service tray and trolley from guestroom and corridors.
Ø Inform valet service to collect guest’s clothes for laundry, dry cleaning or pressing service and keep fire exits and stair ways clear of any obstruction
Ø Handle items for lost and found according to the standards and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
