About Me
Ø Supervise cleaning on the allocated floors and areas including guest rooms, corridors, staircases, floor panties of allocated floors. And assigning housekeeping task to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met
Ø To inspect all arrival rooms, check outs, VIP’s and long stay guest rooms in designated areas daily.
Ø Supervise handling of soiled linen to laundry and requisition of fresh ones from housekeeping.
Ø Communicate and coordinate with engineering to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guests rooms and Public areas.
Ø Assign housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintenance tasks and ensure that the team efficiently completes any delegated duties and provide team members with specific instructions or suggestions to accommodate customer requests.
Ø Scheduling staff shifts and organizing replacements as required and investigating and addressing complaints regarding complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.
Ø Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed and issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed
Ø Conducts orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment and makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation and prepares reports concerning room occupancy , payroll, and department expense.
Ø Facilities provision of extra service to guest such as baby sitters, hot water bottles and other guests request.
Ø To have a complete knowledge of all housekeeping machines and equipment for operation and maintenance as dictated in operation.
Ø To coordinate with the front office of VIP rooms, unexpected departures, early arrivals and extended stays and room changes.
Ø Lead, train and supervise Room attendants and house persons on a floor or designated area to ensure all rooms and Public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
Ø Monitor payroll reports, work schedules, lost and found program, stock rooms and carts and designated inventories and actively participate in daily briefing, daily warm up and department meetings.
Ø Meet and exceed guest expectations by ensuring department provides outstanding service and teamwork.
