About Me
● Make bed, wash sink, bathtub, toilet, tiles, mirrors and floors and polish brass and metal, cleaning bathroom, replacing supplies and sanitize high touch areas such as lights switches, bed rails and doorknobs and update and record all vacant clean rooms and occupied clean rooms in the system by room phone.
● Anticipates guest needs and takes ownership of guest concerns and requests, acts decisively to ensure guest satisfaction and safe handling of all relevant equipment and machinery, reports defects and accidents to management immediately.
● Deliver guest requests such as flowers for special occasions (marriage, maternity) and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested to ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction, remove items from hallways and transport to service areas.
● cleans and maintains areas of responsibility such as rooms and bathrooms, maintain the closets and elevator landings to ensure that they are cleaned and organized according to the hotel standards and procedures
● Clean and keep the guest corridors, service pantries and service areas neat and tidy all times and ensure correct amount and placement of hangers, extra blanket/pillow and luggage rack.
● Remove room service trays and trolley from guest room and corridor and inform valet service to collect guests clothes for laundry, dry cleaning and pressing services
● Clean corridors and floor public areas around guest rooms, dust, polish and remove marks from walls and maintain cleanliness of equipment and Pantries.
● Provide the turn down service to assigned guest room according to standards established by the hotel, it involves turning down the bed, Replenishing guest room and bath supplies and cleaning the bathroom if necessary.
● Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms this involves removing trash, dirty linens and room service items, making bed, dusting the room and furniture, Replenishing guest room and bath supplies, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming the carpet, linen rooms and cupboards according to set standards and procedures.
● Attends the guest’s requests and queries courteously and provides excellent guest service promptly in the course of duty and report to housekeeping office of guests who have pets, cooking equipment’s and dangerous possessions in the room
● Reports and follow up on any maintenance issues such as broken appliances immediately and reports damaged or missing items and suspicious behavior of the guest to supervisor immediately.
● Reports of lost and found items following the procedures and techniques for example valued items such Gold watches, laptops, phones to be reported immediately to floor in charge and large amounts of money to call security.
