Ø Clean assigned guest rooms according to the established standards by the hotel such as making bed, vacuuming carpet, dusting the room and furniture.
Ø Vacuum and mop floors, clean /disinfect guest bathrooms to the high standards and make guest beds daily or change bedding as required and replace towels, soap and other guest room amenities.
Ø Vacuum guest floor corridors as assigned and keep them clean throughout the day including dusting, spot marking and polishing and ensure that the hotels standards of cleanliness, hygiene, security and presentation are in maintained all assigned rooms.
Ø Inspect and clean all facilities, furniture and fixtures, and report any damage to the housekeeping supervisor, executive housekeeper or housekeeping coordinator, for action and follow up.
Ø Cleaning all restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors and cleaning toilets and urinals.
Ø Maintain maximum security of guest information on work sheets by keeping inside the guest room at all times and by not opening any room door for either guests or employees and notify to the housekeeping coordinator all DND rooms by 14.00 hrs. every day.
Ø Report to the housekeeping supervisor any unusual incidents, complaints, unauthorized persons in rooms, missing or damaged hotel property, and lost and found items.
Ø Attends the guest’s requests and queries courteously and provides excellent guest service promptly in the course of duty.
Ø Clean, tidy and vacuum the housekeeping pantries, ensure pantry doors are kept locked at all times and lights out when not in use and stores all the equipment in proper place and keep pantries well arranged
Ø Reports and follow up on any maintenance issues such as broken appliances, television not working, air conditioner not working immediately to supervisor.
Ø Clean corridors and floor public areas around guest rooms and answer all questions or requests in a friendly and caring manner.
