Social Media Specialist | Stellenbosch | Hospitality Group
A dynamic hospitality and lifestyle group in Stellenbosch is seeking a creative and strategic SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST to manage the online presence of three distinctive brands:
- A vibrant food and market destination,
- A boutique wine emporium nestled within it, and
- A historic homestead offering unique experiences.
Together, these brands celebrate fine dining, wine culture, and heritage living – and we’re looking for someone who can bring their stories to life across digital platforms.
Role Overview
As the Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing engaging content strategies that grow brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and strengthen community connections. You’ll work closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure each brand’s voice is consistent, authentic, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and manage content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Develop campaigns that highlight food, wine, events, and lifestyle experiences.
- Monitor analytics and optimize performance to meet engagement and growth targets.
- Collaborate with photographers, designers, and event teams to produce high-quality visuals.
- Respond to community interactions and maintain a positive brand presence.
- Stay ahead of digital trends and propose innovative ideas for growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management (hospitality, lifestyle, or wine industry preferred).
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in social media tools, analytics, and scheduling platforms.
- Creative eye for photography, video, and design.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Salary
- Competitive range: R15,000 – R18,000 per month, depending on experience.
