Assistant Store Manager | Cape Town | Luxury Retail Brand
Luxury Retail Brand is seeking an ambitious, well-presented and customer focused ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER to their team in Belville, Cape Town. This opportunity is ideal for an individual who is passionate about luxury products, fashion, exceptional customer service and retail leadership.
The successful candidate will receive ongoing training and development with the objective of progressing into a Store Management position.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver an exceptional and personalised customer shopping experience.
• Build long-term relationships with customers through outstanding service and product knowledge.
• Drive individual and store sales while consistently achieving KPI targets.
• Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store.
• Maintain impeccable visual merchandising standards in line with a premium retail environment.
• Ensure the store remains clean, organised and inviting at all times.
• Process sales, exchanges, refunds and gift wrapping accurately.
• Assist with stock receiving, stock control, replenishment and stock counts.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ensure company policies and operational procedures are followed at all times.
Minimum Requirements
• Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in premium or luxury retail.
• Previous experience with premium boutiques or luxury retailers will be highly advantageous.
• Previous experience as a Senior Sales Consultant, Supervisor or Assistant Store Manager is preferred.
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
• Strong sales ability with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, polished and well-groomed appearance.
• Honest, dependable and highly customer-focused.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Computer literate and comfortable working with retail POS systems.
• Willing and able to work retail hours, weekends and public holidays.
