Waiters | Luxury Hotel | Malta
We are looking for experienced WAITERS to join the team of a luxury hotel group in Malta. This is amazing opportunity to work in Europe.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Visa application process till onboarding is about 6-8 months
- Visa cost is approx. EUR 2500 (to be paid in stages of the process)

This position is ideal for Waiters professionals who take pride in excellent guest service and would like to develop their careers within an international, high-standard hotel environment in Europe.
As Waiters, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for hotel guests while maintaining excellent standards of service, presentation and professionalism. You will work closely with the restaurant, bar and kitchen teams to ensure that service runs smoothly and that every guest receives attentive, efficient and personalised service.
Waiters – Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner and ensure a positive experience from the moment they arrive.
- Prepare restaurant and dining areas before service, ensuring tables are correctly set, clean and presented according to established hotel standards.
- Present menus to guests and provide clear information regarding available food and beverage options.
- Explain menu items, daily specials and beverage selections and provide recommendations when requested.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate orders efficiently to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Serve food and beverages professionally, following the required sequence of service and maintaining excellent presentation standards.
- Ensure that guests receive their orders promptly and check that they are satisfied throughout their dining experience.
- Remain attentive to guest requirements while respecting their privacy and allowing them to enjoy a relaxed dining experience.
- Respond professionally to guest questions, requests and concerns and escalate any complaints to the appropriate supervisor or manager when necessary.
- Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods and potential allergens in order to answer guest questions accurately.
- Assist guests with dietary requirements and communicate special requests clearly to the kitchen team.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently while ensuring that restaurant areas remain clean, organised and welcoming throughout the service period.
- Work closely with chefs, bartenders, hosts and other Food and Beverage team members to provide seamless service.
- Follow cash-handling and payment procedures in accordance with established operational standards
- Consistently represent the high standards expected within a luxury hospitality environment.
Waiters – Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience as a Waiter or in a similar Food and Beverage service position.
- Previous experience within a hotel, resort, restaurant or professional hospitality environment is required.
- Experience within a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant or high-end hospitality operation will be highly advantageous.
- Experience working according to internationally recognised luxury hospitality service standards will be considered a strong advantage.
- Good knowledge of professional restaurant service procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of spoken English is required. Knowledge of additional languages will be advantageous.
- Professional, friendly and confident manner when communicating with guests.
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Ability to remain calm, organised and professional during busy service periods.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multicultural Food and Beverage team.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high service standards.
- Basic computer skills and previous experience using restaurant POS systems will be advantageous.
Waiters’ Salary:
- EUR 15000 gross per year (approx. ZAR 23000 per month)
