Bartenders | Cape Town | Premium Casual Dining
As an established, fast-expanding Johannesburg hospitality group prepares to launch its premier seafront restaurant concept in Mouille Point, we are building an elite bar team. We are looking for passionate, skilled BARTENDERS to deliver top-tier craft cocktails, premium beverage service, and electric hospitality.
You will be part of an exciting pre-opening team, working under the direction of our Head Mixologist to set the standard for Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard nightlife and dining scene.
Key Responsibilities
- Beverage Execution & Service:
- Prepare and serve craft cocktails, premium spirits, wines, and draught beers according to exact group recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain high speed, accuracy, and flair during high-volume service periods.
- Guest Interaction & Atmosphere:
- Engage warmly with guests seated at the bar, offering menu guidance and tailored drink recommendations.
- Create a clean, welcoming, and high-energy atmosphere at the bar counter.
- Bar Prep & Operations:
- Execute daily bar setup, fruit cutting, syrup preparation, batching, and restocking.
- Maintain strict hygiene, sanitization, and organization behind the bar and in storage areas.
- Assist with stock takes, cash-ups, and managing breakages.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of high-volume bartending experience in an upmarket restaurant, cocktail bar, or high-end venue.
- Mixology Knowledge: Strong foundation in classic cocktail recipes, modern mixology techniques, and spirit knowledge.
- Speed & Efficiency: Ability to handle intense, fast-paced service while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Attitude: Energetic, punctual, customer-focused, and a strong team player.
Salary package: Market related
Start: September for October opening.
