General Manager | Somerset West | Coffee Franchise

We ae looking for a hands‑on, energetic GENERAL MANAGER to lead a busy coffee franchise in Somerset West. This store has a loyal customer base, a fast-paced environment, and a team that thrives under strong leadership. If you love great coffee, smooth operations, and building motivated teams, this role is for you.

Start date: Ideally 1st August 2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Operations — Ensure the store runs efficiently from open to close, maintaining high service and product standards.
  • Team Leadership — Manage, train, and motivate a team of 15 staff, including baristas and front-of-house.
  • Customer Experience — Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and resolve customer queries professionally.
  • Stock & Ordering — Oversee inventory, supplier coordination, and cost control.
  • Financial Oversight — Monitor daily sales, manage cash-ups, and support monthly reporting.
  • Compliance — Uphold franchise standards, hygiene protocols, and operational policies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar leadership role.
  • Barista skills or strong coffee knowledge (advantageous).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and people-management abilities.
  • Ability to work early mornings and manage a full operational day.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Salary Info:
  • R22,000 CTC
  • Incentive structure after probation
  • Meals provided during double shifts (open–close)
